MultiPath Director manages multiple paths
to the storage system
Available with ATTO’s single-, dual- and quad-channel 8Gb/s Fibre Channel HBAs and fully-qualified for use with the ATTO FastStream RAID Storage Controller, MultiPath Director addresses workstation-level needs for load-balancing and automatic path failover, features that were previously available only at the server level. MultiPath Director provides multiple redundant paths to enterprise storage for high-performance connectivity, and is qualified with leading enterprise-class storage vendors like IBM, HP, EMC, Dot Hill, NetApp and LaCie. By enabling multiple workstations to connect to high-end Fibre Channel storage, MultiPath Director creates a shared storage environment. It allows users to efficiently collaborate on projects and gain real-time access to content in heterogeneous environments that deploy Windows, Linux and Mac servers and workstations.
"ATTO has always been dedicated to providing unique and valuable features in our products that help our customers do their work more efficiently," states Tom Kolniak, Director of Products for ATTO Technology, Inc. "With the announcement of MultiPath Director, we are providing a solution that meets the high-availability demands of applications in media and entertainment SAN environments. We are the first to bring to market a Fibre Channel storage connectivity solution that allows our customers to connect their cross-platform workstations to enterprise-class storage systems."
