AIC Xtore StudioRAID With Atto Controller

Advanced Industrial Computer, Inc., a storage and server OEM/ODM solutions provider, announced the availability of the AIC Xtore Professional StudioRAID 16RXe storage subsystem that features the ATTO Technology, Inc.’s FastStream 8200E storage controller which supports SAS and SATA hard disk drives.

A live demonstration of the enterprise-class solution for use in both Mac and Windows OS environments can be viewed at the 2010 NAB Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center through April 15.

With up to 16TB per 3U rack-optimized shelf and support for SAS or SATA hard disk drives, the Xtore StudioRAID 16RXe is an ideal storage solution for direct-attached or SAN-based server and workstation applications, qualified for use with Mac OS X, Mac OS X Server or Windows environments. With DriveAssure drive assessment and latency management technology, the Xtore StudioRAID will prevent premature drive failures and slowdowns, ensuring uninterrupted access to data. Other features include high efficiency cooling fans, a pair of 500W 12V high-efficiency power supply modules and a user-friendly WebGUI, all in one secure and safe data storage system.
