Veeam Opens Office in Canada

Based in Toronto, ONT

Veeam Software has opened an office in Toronto, Ontario.

Veeam is an international company with U.S. headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, European headquarters in Reading, UK, and APAC headquarters in Sydney, Australia. Veeam Software is adding approximately 700 new customers each month to its base of 10,000 customers worldwide.

We are so pleased to have a local presence in the Canadian market,” explained George Sidoris, Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Veeam Software. “Our new Canada-based team will help us better meet the needs of the growing server virtualization market there. We pride ourselves on technical innovation and customer responsiveness through a strategy of ‘innovate and iterate.’ Veeam seeks out and rapidly acts upon customer feedback, meeting and exceeding customers’ expectations with weeks or months. Our channel partners throughout the Americas have found our products to be significantly superior, which gives them an important competitive advantage in helping their customers.”

While the advantages and value of VMware have been realized by our customers, our virtualization assessments commonly prove that optimizing the existing investment, reducing administration overhead and mitigating risk in these environments is a challenge,” said Alan Fullerton, CEO of Teknicor, Inc., a Veeam Gold ProPartner. “Veeam`s solutions deliver immediate and significant impact in all three areas and help position Teknicor as a customer-centric solutions partner to our clients.”

Nate Haddad, Veeam Canada Regional Manager, said the company has more than 300 customers and 80 partners in Canada. “Veeam is already an established VMware virtualization data protection and management vendor in this market,” he explained. “I am very excited and proud to lead Veeam’s team in Canada. Opening a local office will result in exponential customer growth and local market penetration.”
