Compellent to Pay Acacia for Patents’ Infringement

Acacia Research Corporation announced that its Data Network Storage LLC subsidiary has entered into a settlement and license agreement with Compellent Technologies, Inc. covering a patent portfolio that relates to storage area network technology. This agreement resolves patent litigation that was pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
Comments
Compellent is probably not the last storage company to be in trouble
with Acacia for storage patents.
