Man admits embezzling $6 million from Haas TCM with fake Seagate orders
A Big Lake man in federal court Tuesday admitted stealing $6 million in an embezzlement scheme from a Seagate Technology chemical supplier, the Department of Justice said. An employee of West Chester, Penn.-based Haas TCM, Chad Wilfred Jurgens, 38, was a site manager who worked at Seagate’s Bloomington location to manage chemical sales to the computer hard drive manufacturer. (…) In 2002, Jurgens set up a sham company, VR Services, and started placing large chemical orders to his employer for Seagate, which the company didn’t need.
