New Service by Infortrend: Phone Home for ESVA SANs

Infortrend announced that its new service Phone Home, is now available for its ESVA (Enterprise Scalable Virtualised Architecture) family of SAN solutions.

The new service is designed to proactively help users minimise unplanned downtime; should an issue arise, ESVA’s SANWatch Notification Manager will automatically notify Infortrend’s representatives, which – in turn – will alert the user. Customers can also choose the option to have an Infortrend engineer promptly dispatched to the site.
 
Downtime, whether planned or unplanned, poses a threat to business continuity for companies of all sizes. To reduce this, users need to couple a comprehensive range of technologies with professional and prompt technical support to ensure 24×7 data availability. Infortrend’s ESVA is based on a fault-tolerant hardware architecture and includes several advanced features, such as storage virtualisation, remote replication, snapshot and volume copy/mirror, to minimise service disruption. Now, by adding the Phone Home service, ESVA will be able to ensure an even higher level of data availability.

Infortrend’s Phone Home service is included in the standard service package for ESVA, and covers three years at no additional charge.
