EMC Corp. spent $480,000 on lobbying in the last three months of 2009, twice as much as the data-storage company spent in the same period in 2008. The company’s latest lobbying-disclosure form indicates that the company lobbied the House and the Senate on issues such as government information technology spending, cybersecurity and energy efficiency standards for corporate data centers, among other issues.
