Alfred Verrecchia Board’s Director of Iron Mountain

(NYSE: HAS), has joined its board of directors. Verrecchia, 67, became today Iron Mountain’s 11th director at the company’s regular March meeting.
"Al brings a broad and deep executive and financial pedigree to our board, having led a highly successful company," said Richard Reese, executive chairman of the board of directors at Iron Mountain. "We will benefit from his significant experience at the board level and are honored to have Al join our board of directors."
Verrecchia is chairman of the board at Hasbro, a position he has held since 2008. He has spent his entire career at Hasbro, beginning as a staff accountant and making his way to chief executive officer, a position he held from 2003-2008. Prior to his role as CEO, Verrecchia spent many years in key leadership roles including chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
Verrecchia is also an independent director at FGX International Holdings. In previous years, he sat on the CVS Caremark board for three years, where he was a member of the audit committee.
Verrecchia is also highly involved in the Rhode Island community, sitting on various nonprofit boards, including serving as chairman of Lifespan, Rhode Island’s largest hospital and medical system.
He holds a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Rhode Island.
