The embedded intelligent F/W algorithm support self-encrypting drives; the ‘Instant Secure Erase’ function which permanently removes data when repurposing or decommissioning drives, providing a much more safety level of data erasure than other common methods, such as overwriting or degaussing. Moreover, the web-based ‘Key Management’ functions featuring easy way to enable the authentication key for encryption or decryption the Self-Encrypting Drives (SED), making the drive(s) unreadable to any unauthorized access.
