HP Recommends Proxure’s KeepVault
As online backup for its Windows Home Server products

HP chose to recommend KeepVault due to its ease of use, complete integration with the Windows Home Server console, and continuous, real-time online backup for any HP MediaSmart Server or HP Data Vault.

Customers can rest assured that their data is kept secure in the cloud, as both versions of KeepVault encrypt data prior to sending, and data remains encrypted on the Tier3+ KeepVault servers with strong 128 bit encryption. The included KeepVault Connector software provides automatic synchronization of PCs to the HP MediaSmart Server or HP Data Vault both in the office/home and remotely via any Internet connection. KeepVault online storage accounts start at 40GB for under $4 per month, and are easily scalable up to 5TB.
KeepVault Pro & Business has all of the features of KeepVault, and offers additional value for prosumers and small businesses. KeepVault Pro & Business offers best-in-class upload speeds, can back up multiple HP Data Vaults or HP MediaSmart Servers to the cloud, and users can access their files from any Internet-connected computer – at home, office, or on the road. KeepVault Pro & Business includes administrative features such as enhanced alert notification, proxy server support, and administrator lockdown.
HP will recommend KeepVault to customers directly via the HP-customized Windows Home Server Console, via the HP website, and through a variety of HP direct sales and marketing channels.
