Infortrend Technology, Inc. released the first FC-to-SAS/SATA and iSCSI-to-SAS/SATA storage arrays from its new EonStor DS family. The easy-to-use EonStor DS storage systems provide comprehensive data protection functionality and outstanding price/performance to help SMBs achieve uncompromised availability and required service levels for their mission-critical applications at affordable prices.

 
To enhance business competitiveness with high data availability, EonStor DS supports storage-based snapshot and volume copy/mirror. EonStor DS is built on a High Availability (HA) hardware platform. All redundant modules including controllers, power supplies and cooling fans are hot-swappable to achieve high fault-tolerance capability. Full RAID protection ensures continuous accessibility to data of full integrity even when up to two drives fail. Infortrend also integrates its innovative CacheSafe technology into EonStor DS arrays to safeguard cached data during power outages. For better IT efficiency, Infortrend allows users to centrally manage multiple EonStor DS systems with SANWatch, its feature-rich management suite.
