Dell: Fiscal 4Q10 Financial Results

Storage down from FY09 to FY10 but EqualLogic up 44%

Total revenues of Dell, Inc. in the quarter ended January 29, 2010 were $14.9 billion, an 11% increase from a year ago and a 16% sequential gain.

Sales from EqualLogic storage solutions were up 44% for the year but overall storage revenue was down from a year ago from $2.4 billion to $2.2 billion, about the same figure as in FY08, but up 18% quarterly. Storage continues to represent currently only 4% of total sales of the company.
