Alan Andolsen Passed Away
Board member of IFSA Data Storage
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on February 18, 2010 at 3:18 pmIFSA Data Storage, Inc. (IFSA-DSI), of Magnolia, Ark., is grieved at the loss of board member and friend Alan Andolsen. Mr. Andolsen passed away January 24, 2010, at the age of 66.
Philip A. Betsch, president of IFSA-DSI, said: “The records management industry has lost a distinguished scholar and an eminent leader, and we have lost a good friend.”
Mr. Andolsen was well known as an expert in the records information management (RIM) industry. He was a member of the IFSA Data Storage, Inc., Advisory Board of Directors and was a guest speaker at the 2008 Arkansas Information Technology Symposium. Mr. Andolsen was president of Naremco Services and served as President of the Board of Regents of the Institute of Certified Records Managers, a Trustee of the Foundation for Excellence in Consulting and Management, and Chair of the Code of Ethics Committee of AMCF – the Association of Management Consulting Firms.
He received the Association’s 2006 Distinguished Service Award. Mr. Andolsen was also a member of the Boards of the New York Revels, the Jupiter Symphony, and the Ecole Libre des Hautes Etudes. He was active in ARMA International.
