Scott Robinson VP and Corporate Controller at Imation
Promoted from executive director, corporate controller and chief accounting officer

Robinson to the position of vice president and corporate controller. In this role, Robinson has global responsibility for the company’s internal and external reporting, financial accounting policies, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and tax function.
“Imation is in the midst of a global business transformation, and has added new brands and businesses with the recent acquisitions of Memorex, TDK recording media, and XtremeMac. Under Scott’s leadership, we have successfully integrated these businesses into our finance reporting structure while maintaining a strong focus on financial discipline,” said Paul Zeller, Imation’s senior vice president and chief financial officer. “Scott is a dedicated finance leader whose depth of technical expertise has proven an important asset for Imation. We are fortunate to have him in this critical leadership position,” said Zeller.
Robinson has more than 20 years of experience in the finance field. Since 2007, he has been executive director, corporate controller, and chief accounting officer for Imation. Prior to joining Imation in 2004, Robinson was employed with Deluxe Corporation, a provider of personalized printed products, promotional products, and merchandizing materials, where he held the positions of director of internal audit and assistant corporate controller. He began his finance career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he worked in the company’s Minneapolis, New York, and Dusseldorf, Germany offices.
Robinson is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Cloud State University.
