Index Engines Expands Enterprise Discovery Platform

Index Engines, in enterprise discovery solutions, announced the expansion of its platform to include new support for major email and backup formats. The LTN Award winning Unified Discovery Platform now provides full content and metadata indexing, search and extraction support for Lotus Notes email, and full support for discovery of all email and unstructured data backed up with CommVault and UltraBac Software.

This new functionality joins Index Engines’ already robust support for other common backup formats including Symantec NetBackup, Symantec BackupExec, Legato Networker, IBM Tivoli, Computer Associates ArcServe and NT Backup. The platform enhancement shows Index Engines’ commitment to the eDiscovery and information management markets by providing enterprise organizations with tools they need to access and manage both online and offline data. Index Engines platform enables enterprise IT and litigation support teams to deduplicate, search and extract through one unified platform, reducing redundancy, time and cost associated with using multiple tools to access only segments of their ESI. This data access is done without the need to first restore the data, and at unprecedented speeds of 1TB per hour.
