It is the first optical chip card reader worldwide equipped with a touch screen. In addition, KOBIL will give the Golden TAN Optimus comfort Award to a savings bank at CeBIT to symbolize the one million TAN Optimus comfort devices that have already been delivered to the branch.
The opTAN touch, which will be presented to the public for the first time at CeBIT, offers even better ergonomics thanks to its new touch screen.  This new addition to the device is KOBIL’s reaction to modern day requirements for the design of IT security devices. But behind the smart design hides rock-solid security based on the technology of the TAN Optimus comfort optical reader.

The data storage device mIDentity 4 smart secure data storage, which is another development within the KOBIL mIDentity line, meets and exceeds current security concerns. The device enables the processing of sensitive data also in external environments. This feature will be of benefit especially to external employees, field representatives and tax consultants. Internally, the device protects companies against data theft. mIDentity 4 smart secure data storage is smart card based and equipped with 256 bit AES hardware encryption. The device can be managed centrally enabling document control and the conducting of automatic backups. If the data storage unit is attacked, the mIDentity automatically shuts itself down. In the future, the mIDentity 4smart secure data storage will also be able to conduct automatic backups that are stored in a cloud.
