Unitrends Supports Exchange Server 2010

Unitrends announced support for Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. Unitrends’ D2D (disk-to-disk) based data protection appliances use a common backup and recovery engine that supports more than 40 versions of operating systems and applications, now including Exchange 2010.

Exchange 2010 support is included in Unitrends’ Release 4.2, which is available today for all existing customers via an upgrade and is installed on all new appliances beginning today. The support of Exchange 2010 is provided via its Rapid Recovery Console, a powerful yet intuitive graphical user interface that simplifies backup management and cuts administrative time. It provides ‘single pane of glass’ view into multiple unit monitoring, and management of both Unitrends’ on-premise and off-premise data protection appliances for business continuity and disaster recovery. Through this one window, users can view the entire set of appliances, capabilities and software functions that deliver true business systems continuity protection.

Availability
The new Unitrends Version 4.2, and its support for Microsoft Exchange 2010 Server, is available now for all Unitrends recovery appliances. There is no charge for the additional operating system support for existing Unitrends customers.
