Reason for Dissolution
Earlier this year, the Fujitsu Group’s hard disk drive business was transferred to Toshiba Corporation and Showa Denko KK. Since the completion of the transfers, Yamagata Fujitsu Limited has been a dormant company, and therefore the company will be dissolved and procedures taken for its liquidation.

- December 31, 2009: Resolution at Yamagata Fujitsu Limited Shareholder’s Meeting
- End of March 2010: Liquidation completed
Financial Outlook
Transactions related to this event have already been recognized on consolidated financial statements, and therefore there will be no impact on consolidated financial results for the year ending March 31, 2010.
