Sandberg Multi Hard Disk Box

Based in Birkerød, Denmark Sandberg A/S is launching hard disk boxes, which make it easy to convert a spare hard disk into a smart external device.

 
The new Sandberg Multi Hard Disk Box is only available in two versions, which together cover almost the whole spectrum. The two versions are for 2.5" and 3.5" hard disks respectively. Both versions can run with IDE and SATA hard disks and can be connected to the computer via USB or eSATA. The only restriction is that you cannot connect an IDE hard disk to the computer via eSATA. Otherwise you can combine exactly what you want and need.
 
Managing Director Martin Hollerup explains the small range of hard disk boxes: "Most of the time people really don’t know if they have an IDE or SATA hard disk. That’s why it’s much easier to have a solution that covers both. This way you don’t risk coming home with something unsuitable."
 
The Managing Director talks about the target group, explaining that "it’s mainly for situations where you’re switching to a new computer. Instead of cramming documents, pictures and other data from the old computer into the new one, you just need to take the hard disk out of the old computer and put it into one of the new multiboxes. This means you have access to all the old data whenever you need it, and there’s no risk of forgetting to transfer anything, plus you also have an amazing backup solution at an extremely affordable price."
 
In connection with the introduction of Windows 7, many people are switching to a new computer. This will be a easier with a Sandberg Multi Hard Disk Box.
