Data Robotics Launches Online Drobo Store In Europe

Data Robotics, Inc. launched its online Drobo Store into Europe. The company has already successfully rolled out the Drobo Store in the USA and Canada.

Business and consumer customers from more than a dozen European countries can now visit a Web site to purchase the company’s DroboPro, Drobo and DroboShare storage solutions.  

Maintaining Data Robotics’ 100 percent channel strategy, all orders taken through the new online store will fulfilled by Digital River, an European online reseller.

Mike Collins, EMEA channel director at Data Robotics, said: “We’ve sold more than 85,000 units worldwide already, and demand for the Data Robotics product portfolio continues to grow rapidly in Europe.  Launching a dedicated online store was the quickest and most efficient way for European customers who don’t have their own local reseller to get access to the products they need.”

DroboPro and Drobo, respectively eight- and four-drive storage arrays, provide small and medium businesses (SMB), creative professionals, and consumers with a hugely simplified storage experience, enhanced by advanced self-monitoring and self-healing features that ensure the highest levels of data protection. DroboShare turns the four-drive Drobo into a network attached storage (NAS) appliance.
