Bill Mottram VP Marketing at Atrato

And Jeff Edwards VP sales

Atrato, Inc. announced additions to its executive team. Bill Mottram has been named vice president of marketing and will lead development and execution of Atrato’s go-to-market strategy, directing the company vision and product requirements for its Velocity1000 product line. Jeff Edwards has been appointed vice president of sales, where he will focus on expanding Atrato’s partner and customer base worldwide. The new appointments support Atrato’s business strategy to further its leadership position in high velocity data storage.

atrato_bill_mottram Bill Mottram brings over twenty-five years of product development, marketing and sales experience in the data storage industry. An experienced marketing leader, he has worked with Fortune 500 companies such as StorageTek, Compaq and HP as well as smaller, entrepreneurial enterprises including Pillar Data Systems and COPAN Systems. Although primarily a marketing professional Mottram has considerable expertise in technology management, corporate acquisition and public company funding.

atrato_jeff_edwards Jeff Edwards manages Atrato’s sales team and is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to establish and build successful relationships with customers. Jeff brings twenty-five years of management and sales experience with a number of top high-tech companies including Hitachi Data Systems, IBM, StorageTek and NEC Corporation of America. Prior to joining Atrato, Jeff served as Vice President of Sales for NEC Corporation of America, where he established a successful channel sales organization and grew the division’s revenue 40% year over year. Jeff also served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales at COPAN Systems, where he ramped sales revenue from pre Beta to a $20 million run rate within the first two years. Throughout his career he has been responsible for growing sales and services revenues in key positions and successfully taking new concepts to market.
