Matt Sinnott-Davies UK Business Development Manager for Compellent

Sinnott-Davies will be responsible for driving sales of Compellent’s storage area network (SAN) and supporting the company’s 100 per cent channel-only partner sales model across Northern England and Scotland. He reports to Andy Hardy, managing director of international sales for Compellent.
Sinnott-Davies, a 15-year storage veteran, joins Compellent from Fordway, an IT infrastructure specialist and Compellent business partner, where he was senior sales executive responsible for key accounts including Wakefield Council and Cleveland Police.
Commenting on this appointment Andy Hardy said: “Our business has grown significantly over the last 12 months across all regions, which has required us to expand our sales team. As someone who has experience of selling Compellent SANs since we first launched in the UK, Matt’s deep technical knowledge, as well as solid sales experience, will be of great benefit to Compellent’s customers and channel partners.”
Prior to Fordway, Sinnott-Davies was account director at Dataplex Systems and VAR manager at ANT Software. Sinnott-Davies holds six technical certifications and accreditations from vendors including Microsoft, IBM, Sun Microsystems, Citrix Systems and VMware.
He is based out of Compellent’s UK offices in Amersham.
