Building on its record Q3 2009 revenues and highly successful consumer (Acronis True Image Home 2010) and enterprise (Acronis Backup & Recovery 10) product launches, Acronis added Mann as its first CMO. He is charged with leading Acronis’ global marketing efforts out of the Burlington, Mass., headquarters.

Acronis registered its best-ever Q3 revenues this year, highlighted by a September that set a company record for revenue. In addition, Acronis last month was named to the Deloitte Technology Fast 500, a list of the fastest growing technology companies in North America. Acronis has also earned a place on the Inc. 5000 and the AlwaysOn East 100 lists as well as countless product awards.
Mann, a thought leader on emerging technologies, marketing segmentation strategies, social media, and marketing strategy, brings more than 20 years of experience in technology marketing to Acronis. Most recently, Mann led SAP AG’s social media strategy efforts. Mann was also responsible for SAP’s Total Customer Experience initiative, services marketing, market intelligence function and SAP’s competitive program and strategy team. Prior to joining SAP, Mann was a principal with the BRM Group, a Jerusalem and New York-based venture capital firm and was formerly the vice president of product strategy for CA, Inc.
