Raid Inc. to Display Intel Nehalem EX CPUs at SC09

In addition, Intel’s new Nehalem EX CPUs for the HPC market will be on display. RAID will also be launching a series of new products and technologies at the SuperComputing 2009 conference in Portland, Oregon, including:

- Performance demonstrations in Lustre using QDR InfiniBand with the new Xanadu 220 monolithic storage solution capable of scaling to 1,000 drives powered by (4) Intel quad-core CPUs.
- Cost-effective InfiniBand storage solution that scales to 720TB of capacity with 1TB of cache in a 42U rack starting at $0.50 per GB.
- High-density self-contained compute cluster with 128 Nehalem CPUs in a 42U rack that eliminates hot spots in the data center.
- Parallel file system demonstrations utilizing Gluster and StorNext with RAID’s Xanadu 110 storage solution.
