Concorde Informatics Launches MirrorVAULT Offsite Online Data Backup
For SMBs
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on November 10, 2009 at 5:31 pmIT managed service provider Concorde Informatics Ltd. has announced the launch of its new MirrorVAULT offsite data backup and managed recovery service. The solution has been developed to offer SMBs the level of business data protection traditionally only enjoyed by large enterprises, without enterprise size costs.
MirrorVAULT provides SMBs with a zero touch tapeless data backup and recovery solution that uses continuous data protection to securely replicate both server and workstation data on and offsite to the Concorde Informatics Data Centre. In the event of a system failure or data loss, customers can either recover individual files themselves or if required, Concorde can deploy a replacement storage appliance with the data fully configured ready to be sent to the customer or business recovery site.
For customers that require a greater level of protection, the Concorde Informatics Business Recovery Suite offers a range of services from hosted business servers, allowing access to business systems online within minutes, to a full disaster recovery replacement workplace, which in the event of a disaster provides customers with an alternate place of work with all business services in place, ready to go.
Neil Roberts, Managed Services Director at Concorde Informatics commented: “For many companies and organisations disaster recovery is often only an afterthought when it really should be at the top of their IT priorities list. They continue to use on site tape backup or solid state systems that in reality are just as vulnerable and can often be very difficult to use if there is a need to reinstall data quickly and efficiently.”
He continued: “With MirrorVAULT customers benefit from a high quality managed service that has no capital expenditure and a low monthly charge. In addition, as a fully managed service we will ensure that the support is maintained without the need for extra skills or staff.”
As part of the MirrorVAULT service customers will be provided with a continuous data backup and protection solution, 24/7 customer support and piece of mind knowing that in the event of a data disaster they can be up and running again in a matter of hours.
The service has been developed in conjunction with SonicWALL, supplier of secure network infrastructure solutions.
MirrorVAULT has already been implemented for a number of clients including Netherleigh and Rossfield School and Sheridan Kitchens, Ant Hire and Bennett’s of Preston.
