The first and only SATA-IO 1.4 test lab in North America, this capability will add to the UNH-IOL’s plentiful array of storage and data communications testing services that it offers to its members.

"The new SATA-IO 1.4 Interoperability Program is an important step forward for SATA industry as it transitions to 6Gbps,” said John Calvin, SATA-IO Interoperability Chairman, “The SATA-IO consortium is please to see the UNH-IOL as the first approved test lab in the US to be certified for 6Gbps testing. The UNH-IOL has made vital contributions to this test specification, and continues to be one of the principal players in the evolution of SATA unified test program.”

SATA-IO testing will be available to members of the UNH-IOL SATA consortium for both certification and to those looking to submit to the SATA-IO integrators list. Testing is available for both SATA devices and hosts.

The UNH-IOL has been involved with SATA testing since 2003, and has been performing SATA-IO certification since 2006,” said David Woolf, manager of the UNH-IOL SATA consortium. “The SATA-IO 1.4 certification program will be a great benefit to our members and the industry.”
