Brian Grainger VP of WW Sales for Spectra Logic

Grainger brings more than 17 years of sales, product management and sales management experience in technology and data storage, as well as expertise in the Federal and high performance computing (HPC) sectors.

During the past year, Spectra Logic achieved revenue growth and strong sales in enterprise and mid-range solutions, despite a tough economy – and we continue to experience growing customer demand for our data protection solutions,” said Nathan Thompson, Spectra Logic’s chief executive officer. “Brian’s strong leadership, deep understanding of customer requirements and high energy drive will help to continue this momentum and propel Spectra’s success and growth worldwide.”
Grainger joined Spectra Logic in 2001 as the regional sales director of Southeast commercial sales.In 2004, he founded the Federal sales division of the company, which now comprises more than one-quarter of North American revenue. Since building the company’s Federal team and efforts, Grainger has served as regional vice president of Southeast commercial and Federal sales. He was also instrumental in developing and building Spectra Logic’s high performance computing (HPC) business.

Prior to Spectra Logic, Grainger held sales, sales management and product management positions with OnStream, Gates/Arrow, Seagate and Conner Peripherals.
