Data Robotics Raises $10 Million
Bringing total up $38 million since its inception in 2004

The recent round of funding was led by Focus Ventures, a firm specializing in expansion stage venture capital, with participation from existing investors Greylock Partners, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), RRE Ventures, and Sutter Hill Ventures. Data Robotics will use this investment to accelerate research and development programs and expand global sales and marketing initiatives.
Data Robotics has experienced double-digit growth in every quarter of 2009 and recently announced 100 percent growth in worldwide sales over the second quarter of 2008. In addition, over 240 new resellers were added to Data Robotics’ worldwide channel. The Drobo family of business class and professional data storage solutions offers a unique value proposition that combines simplified capacity expansion and self-healing data protection.
