IBM Adds 600GB 15K 6Gb SAS 3.5-inch Hot-Swap HDDs

IBM Corp. introduces new 300 GB, 450 GB, and 600 GB SAS 3.5-inch HS HDDs for its System x. These new SAS HDDs will operate at up to 6 Gbps speeds.

They provide 3.5-inch form factor options that can be used in hot-swap systems. The new 600 GB option is the highest capacity 15K rpm drive. They offer a wider choice to satisfy the range of System x applications. These new drives are positioned at the top of our 15K SAS HDD line based on increased capacity.
