Druvaa inSync Wins Customers

Druvaa Software known for its enterprise laptop backup offering – Druvaa inSync – registered customer wins.

Druvaa recently added key customers including UK largest BPO – Capita Group, India’s large private Life insurance company – Prudential-ICICI, a Dutch construction Group Larson & Tubro, and a leading global antivirus company.

Capita Group PLC deployed inSync for its enterprise laptop backup needs. Capita has a strong 30,000 distributed workforce, and was planning to backup the laptops centrally to its datacenter. Capita chose Druvaa inSync replacing Veritas Netbackup for its strong data deduplication and WAN Optimization features.

"InSync is fast emerging has a preferred choice for backing up distributed and mobile workforce. While the most distinguishing feature is the source based data deduplication which saves over 90% bandwidth and storage, the ease of deployment & administration is fuelling the rapid growth. The product has strong customer base ranging from 10 to 10,000 PCs," writes Borja Rosales, Sales Director for Europe on the corporate blog.

A large global anti-virus company recently replaced a completing product from Symantec with inSync laptop backup for its multi-continental work force. "The backup administrator installed and backed up the entire IT-staff within 1 hour, which shocking for them (the IT Team), as they had spent over a week learning and setting up the heavy weight (competing product). InSync was simple, elegant and fast. And the data deduplication and bandwidth throttling features enabled them to backup the large distributed workforce," adds Ash Ahuja, Sales Director for North America.

What’s Next
Druvaa recently announced beta for its new network backup product for remote and local servers – Phoenix. "Remote data backup is a widely spread and but very underserved problem. With our unique data deduplication approach and WAN Optimization, we believe Phoenix would be a killer proposition," says Milind Borate, CTO, Druvaa. Phoenix is already learned to have received an unprecedented response for beta program and the company had to close the beta program for more users. "The beta program may again open sometime soon," adds Milind.
