Acronis True Image Home 2010 Netbook Edition delivers the patented disk-imaging technology and bare metal restore technologies of the Acronis True Image family combined with an online backup option.
Acronis True Image 2010 Netbook Edition is an addition to the Acronis True Image portfolio, following the release of Acronis True Image Home 2010. Acronis is strengthening its leadership by expanding its consumer offerings with solutions that meet specific needs and deliver best value for data protection and disaster recovery.
In a single product designed for the booming netbook market – market research firm DisplaySearch measured netbook sales growth at 40 percent from Q1 2009 to Q2 2009 -, Acronis True Image 2010 Netbook Edition delivers the flexibility of where and how often to backup netbooks. Its intuitive graphical interface allows users to backup their entire disk locally and to any attached device. Its One-Click Protection and powerful scheduler allow users to create and automate regular backups. Additionally, users can store their critical data online using the optional Acronis online service.
Acronis True Image Home 2010 Netbook Edition, priced at $29.99 and available in English and German, can be downloaded at on Acronis web site. Available at major retailers, it comes on a memory stick because netbooks lack a CD drive.

Acronis True Image Home 2010 Netbook Edition supports Microsoft Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP Home and XP Professional operating systems. It requires a minimum screen resolution of 1024×600 and supports netbooks that use Intel’s Atom 230, 330, N270, N280, Z500, Z510, Z520, Z530 and Z540 chips or the VIA C7-M chip.
