This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on September 24, 2009 at 3:55 pmStratify, Inc., in eDiscovery and subsidiary of Iron Mountain, Inc., announces the formation of a new team of Data Collection and Preservation professionals to help clients better manage the lifecycle of documents and data in today’s complex litigation and compliance environment.
Stratify’s Data Collection and Preservation team will provide on-premises consulting to efficiently identify, collect and preserve relevant data for impending or ongoing matters using a combination of industry standard and proprietary technologies. Stratify consultants will also facilitate the development of policies and procedures to enable the efficient reuse of potentially relevant data under active management by Iron Mountain for client eDiscovery investigations and matters.
“The formation of this team enables Stratify to proactively share its expertise with customers on information mapping and preservation policies that are often critical to defensible, successful eDiscovery,” states Sanjeev Srivastav, vice president, professional and data services. “In addition, these highly seasoned professionals can support clients on data collections involving difficult foreign language data issues and complex information management applications, ensuring fast availability of the data for early case assessment or review in Stratify Legal Discovery.”
Jeff Ghielmetti has joined Stratify to lead the newly formed data collection and preservation team. In this role, Ghielmetti will be responsible for managing data collection engagements for clients and consulting on litigation preparedness and eDiscovery best practices. Ghielmetti has held positions with Navigant Consulting, Citigroup and Cisco where he focused his efforts on helping to automate the ‘plumbing’ of eDiscovery from multiple, disparate corporate data stores and applications.
The Stratify Data Collection and Preservation team will work directly with customers on data preservation policies for structured and unstructured data, and on methodologies that will enable a cohesive, integrated approach to eDiscovery leveraging Iron Mountain and Stratify solutions.
“I am excited to join Stratify at this juncture. Stratify’s deep eDiscovery expertise coupled with Iron Mountain’s robust data protection and storage solutions provides the ideal opportunity to realize the true promise of more integrated, automated eDiscovery,” said Ghielmetti, director, Stratify.
Stratify’s Data Collection and Preservation team is available to support clients immediately.
