Peter Eglinton Senior VP of Ops at Iron Mountain

Iron Mountain, Inc. has appointed Peter Eglinton as the new Senior Vice President of its UK, Ireland and Norway operations. Eglinton will take responsibility for evolving and enhancing the way that Iron Mountain delivers services in the region.

Despite the challenging business environment in the past year, Iron Mountain has continued to grow and see success, recently being added to Standard & Poor’s prestigious S&P 500 index and rising to 681 on the Fortune 1000. Eglinton will focus on continuing this trend, whilst also investigating new ways to make Iron Mountain more competitive, and placing an even stronger focus on customer understanding and satisfaction across the entirety of the organisation.

With more than 20 years of experience in the logistics sector, Eglinton was previously Managing Director of Christian Salvesen‘s Transport Division and spent 17 years at Exel.

Eglinton is particularly focused on how Iron Mountain can structure its sales and support teams and further improve and simplify the delivery of services to help organisations reduce the costs and risks associated with information management.
