The software transforms iPhone & iPod touch into true cloud storage devices and is now available at no charge in App Stores covering 77 countries. FreeBit newly supports the French and German languages in addition to existing support for Japanese, English, and Chinese (French and German information will be available after Apple Inc. approves the registration for App Store).

ServersMan takes less than 5 minutes to change an iPhone into a full-fledged cloud storage device. This software makes it possible to import, view, and export Any Type of File (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Keynote, Numbers, Pages, PDF, mp3, jpg, etc.) from Any Online Device (PC, Mac, mobile phone, etc.) via Any Network that iPhone & iPod touch support (3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth). In addition, ServersMan has the World’s First Web Server Service for Mobile Phones to publish data in the iPhone as Web pages.

The Japanese version ServersMan@iPhone 3.0β , which was released on August 15, was ranked first in the productivity category. ServersMan@iPhone 3.0β has selected as one of the Japan’s Best iPhone Apps by TechCrunch, a major technology blog site.

"I’m very happy to announce the release of ServersMan@iPhone 3.0β and its innovative solution for iPhone users all over the world," said FreeBit president and CEO Atsuki Ishida, adding: "I believe that this software will allow people in many countries to enjoy the convenience of having true cloud storage in your pocket."

‘True’ Cloud Storage in Your Pocket

The primary functions of ServersMan@iPhone 3.0β are as follows:

  • Your own cloud storage with easy control via Web browser/WebDAV: ServersMan enables file uploads to the ServersMan Storage area in iPhone or iPod touch directly from a web browser on a Mac or PC. Users do not need any cables or iTunes synchronization when transferring data. Since ServersMan also supports WebDAV, users can transfer data directly to and from iPhone or iPod touch without going through the browser.
  • Publish your web page from your iPhone; mash-up is available: ServersMan contains a web server engine to allow users to publish data on the Internet by simply selecting the data on iPhone and performing a few touch operations. Users can also mash-up GPS data and Google Maps on ServersMan and publish them as web site.
  • Voices, Videos, Pictures, Record them all and publish them with ServersMan: ServersMan allows you to publish recordings of voices, videos, and pictures directly to the Internet without any upload.
  • Easy access to any network -Wi-Fi or 3G or Bluetooth: Other apps similar to ServersMan often require an additional purchase to use 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networks. But ServersMan is completely free. FreeBit’s Cloud Switch technology automatically switches between 3G and Wi-Fi so that the user can obtain the best connection without even thinking about it.

File transfers via Bluetooth are available between two iPhones or iPod touches with ServersMan installed.

To use ServersMan@iPhone, iPhone OS 3.0 software is required.
