Acronis Revitalizing Its Reseller Program
Offerings to increase margins to as much as 30%
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on September 4, 2009 at 3:18 pmAcronis, Inc. is revitalizing its reseller program with a wide ranging set of channel offerings to increase reseller margins to as much as 30 percent and distributing in excess of $7 million of qualified leads to business partners.
After moving its sales model exclusively to the reseller channel, Acronis will disperse more than $7 million of in-house leads to its Gold and Silver VARs based on geography, industry specialization and ability to service the business.
The new, enhanced deal registration promotion gives up to 30 points back to Gold and Silver authorized resellers on deals of $15,000 or higher who record opportunities with Acronis through November 30. In addition to the increase of 10 to 15 percentage points, Acronis provides a 10 point guarantee that pays channel partners for registering the deal – even if the transaction falls through.
“Our channel dedication is crucial to the growth of Acronis,” said Michael Coney, Acronis President and General Manager, Americas. “We recognize the importance of an active and committed set of business partners to our success. In turn, Acronis is delighted to commit to sharing our success with our partners.”
For Jason Schuerhoff, Vice President of Sales, Sublime Solution, Inc., a Manchester, N.H., reseller, Acronis’ new programs and commitment are welcome. “The new, powerful Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 release combines with aggressive margins to give resellers offerings to build long-term success.”
In July, Acronis released Acronis Backup & Recovery 10, the next-generation of backup and disaster recovery solutions that combine increased scalability, enhanced support for virtual environments, integrated data deduplication into the backup process and powerful operations manageability. Acronis will showcase its technologies at VMworld 2009 in San Francisco from August 31 to September 3, 2009.
In addition to the deal registration promotion, Acronis is launching an accrued market development funds (MDF) program, designed to put money back into growing the partnership with resellers. Depending on bookings, Acronis will reward partners with MDF funds ranging from 3 to 6 percent of their annual revenue commitment and sales.
Acronis’ Channels 1st turnkey lead generation program tools have also been enhanced. Through the program, Acronis provides qualified resellers and distributors with access to a broad range of marketing resources to expand their sales pipeline and strengthen their lead-generation programs. Included are such elements as co-branded, go-to-market programs, including web page templates, email campaigns and joint events.
