Ray Bahar VP Sales and Marketing at Promise

In this position, he will lead and build upon the company’s strong revenue growth, forge new market opportunities, create synergies across all distribution channels and oversee marketing activities in the Americas. Bahar will also serve as part of the executive management team and report directly to Promise President and CEO James Lee.

Bahar brings twenty years of direct sales, sales management, marketing, and business development experience in the storage industry to Promise Technology. He has a strong track record of execution and leadership and a demonstrated ability to increase sales and profits in competitive markets. Bahar’s expertise includes building field sales organizations, channels, alliances and OEM partnerships for storage companies.

Prior to joining Promise, Bahar was senior director of sales for the Americas at Dot Hill Systems. He also held senior sales management roles at companies including LSI Corporation, IBM, Mylex, Bell Microproducts and Wyle Electronics.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic University.
