MMR Information Systems MMR Files Its 2Q09 [Form] 10Q

It provides consumer-controlled Personal Health Records and electronic safe deposit box storage solutions.

MMR Information Systems, Inc., which through its wholly-owned operating subsidiary, MyMedicalRecords, Inc. (MMR) provides consumer-controlled Personal Health Records (PHRs) and electronic safe deposit box storage solutions, announced that it was planning on filing its Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2009 as early as possible the week of August 24.

The Company had planned on filing August 19th, however, certain information necessary for the completion of the Company’s quarterly financial statement review required additional research and consultation in order to ensure it is properly reporting a complex accounting issue that arose during the period.

According to Robert H. Lorsch, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, "Management appreciates the continuing support our shareholders have towards the Company and we are working round the clock to diligently get this filing in as soon as reasonably possible."

The MyMedicalRecords PHR service allows documents, images and voicemail messages to be transmitted and stored in the MyMedicalRecords PHR system using a variety of methods, including fax, phone, or file upload without relying on any specific electronic medical record platform.

The proprietary MyEsafeDepositBox service provides secure online storage for vital financial, legal and insurance documents in addition to medical records, and serves as a powerful emergency preparedness tool for industry, individuals and municipalities.
