Rick Devenuti Board’s Director of Convergys

Convergys Corporation, in relationship management, announces the election of Richard (Rick) R. Devenuti to its Board of Directors effective August 24, 2009. Philip A. Odeen, non-executive Chairman of the Board of Convergys, made the announcement following a board meeting held today.

Devenuti, 51, is currently Senior Vice President of EMC Corporation. Based in Hopkinton, MA, EMC Corporation, with revenues of nearly $15 billion in 2008, provides enterprise storage systems, software, and services and develops, manufactures, and markets intelligent enterprise storage and retrieval equipment and related software.

From 1987 to 2006, Devenuti served in increasingly more responsible executive positions with Microsoft Corporation. He served as Senior Vice President, Services and Information Technology, and as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. He also served as Vice President of Worldwide.

Devenuti also served Sales Operations, financial analysis, and accounting roles during his 19-year career with Microsoft.

Devenuti currently serves on the boards of two public companies. He has served on the St. Jude Medical board and Xeta Technologies board.

Devenuti holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington in Seattle.
