HP: Fiscal 3Q09 Financial Results

Storage revenues down 21% from last year, but stabilizing on a quarterly basis

HP announced financial results for its third fiscal quarter ended July 31, 2009, with net revenue of $27.5 billion, down 2% from the prior year.

Enterprise storage and server revenue was $3.7 billion, down 23% year-over-year.

Storage revenue declined 21%, with the midrange EVA product line down 23%. For the nine month period ending July 31, storage sales decreased 17%, from $3,058 million to $2,551 million.
