Bharat Kumar APAC VP for Tandberg Data

Tandberg Data announced promotions for two key members of the management team. With immediate effect, Bharat Kumar takes the role of Vice President of the APAC region (including Japan and Middle East) and Marije Stijnen assumes the role of Vice President of Marketing on a global basis.  
 
 Bharat’s promotion to Vice President of APAC will see an increased effort and ongoing impetus on sales and marketing in the region. Since joining the company in 2007, Bharat has been instrumental in executing the broad end-to-end data protection portfolio for the SMB market that the company boasts today; which now spans from mobile disk based solutions; across all tape drive and automation solutions and now includes Virtual Tape offerings.  
 
 As Vice President of Marketing, Marije’s remit will include product management, strategic alliances, global marketing, public relations, analyst relations, and business development. Marije had previously been Director of Corporate Marketing and this promotion will see her take a strategic worldwide role that brings together all aspects of marketing.
