New Partners Joining Nexenta Program

Enigma Networks, Core Micro, Nitech, TrustIT, next-IQ, Nemco, Datasys, and E4 Computer Engineering

Nexenta Systems, Inc., provider of hardware independent NAS and SAN solutions utilizing the ZFS file system, announced new additions to its growing roster of channel partnerships with leading systems integrators and solution providers worldwide. NexentaStor is now available as the foundation of total solutions including the breakthrough price/performance and price/capacity of NexentaStor from dozens of systems integrators and solution providers around the world.

New partners joining the Nexenta partner program include:

Enigma Networks, Canada: Enigma is a leading provider of virtualization, storage and security solutions and services. A VMware certified partner who also delivers managed services, Enigma’s expertise has resulted in a leading position in their markets. "We are particularly excited about NexentaStor’s proven superiority in providing storage to VMware environments," said Joseph Funari, Director of Professional Services as Enigma Networks.

Core Micro Systems, Japan: Core Micro Systems, based in Tokyo, Japan, is a leading provider of high performance storage solutions including subsystems and various appliances to the major Japanese markets. It has developed and manufactured its own branded Super Transaction, Super Throughput and Super Capacity storage solutions and has provided Storage Appliance solutions. Core Micro Systems provides open storage solutions with NexentaStor and also distributes this open solution software in Japan. "We have found that the solid data integrity of NexentaStor is particularly important to our customers for this open solution that allows for systems to achieve very high performance while maintaining flexibility. Nitech, USA: Nitech is a Systems Integrator and Single Source Provider of networked storage, and computing solutions. Nitech has supply and service contracts with Fortune 1000 companies, Universities and government agencies, and is a Premier Integrator of Hewlett Packard computing and storage products. NexentaStor leverages the ZFS file system to provide price / performance that can save customers 70% or more while providing superior data integrity, ease of use, and scalability versus legacy storage solutions. In addition, the VM Data Center plug-in offered by Nexenta is uniquely able to simplify and accelerate the process of managing the storage and protection of virtual machines. NexentaStor is available as a software appliance, meaning that it installs as a bare metal install on standard x86 servers.
