LSMS Physicians Services is a subsidiary of the Louisiana State Medical Society (LSMS). LSMS Physicians Services endorsement encourages the 6,500 members of the LSMS to partner with Venyu for off-site storage and backup of patient and practice data.
A Venyu customer since 2006, LSMS – the statewide professional association for physicians and medical students – relies on Venyu to host its information systems and to provide secure backup and continuity services. The partnership encourages members of the Louisiana State Medical Society to use Venyu to backup and secure patient data and practice information. Member practices that partner with Venyu are eligible to receive a group rate.
“The LSMS chose Venyu to host and maintain its network based on the company’s ability to provide a dependable, cost-effective and accessible solution,” said Dave Tarver, Executive Vice President of LSMS. “Given our experience with them and the hurricane threat that faces this region each year, we want our members to enjoy the same level of confidence and recoverability.”
The Venyu Healthcare Difference

Venyu operates under the code of conduct mandated by HIPAA guidelines, making it the premiere vendor for the protection of healthcare-related information.
Venyu offers customizable backup settings such as data selection, start time, retention history, and encryption to meet the needs of each individual customer.
