CompuVault Changes Name to eTegrity

To emphasize the importance of recovery over backup

CompuVault, Inc., channel provider of online data backup and recovery services, announced a company name change to eTegrity Systems International, Inc. This change will become effective August 1, 2009.

"Over the last year, we’ve stressed the importance of recovery over backup," said Steven Ferman, President and CEO. "Using ‘Vault’ as part of our name didn’t accurately convey our focus, which is to ensure data integrity for recovery. Changing to eTegrity is only the beginning though … we will soon be adding new product lines and offering enhanced support for our Channel Partners as well. Look for additional announcements in the near future.”
