Raid, Inc. Joins HPC Advisory Council
To extend its reach as a resource in the supercomputing community

Founded by Mellanox Technologies, the Council’s mission is to provide expertise and other resources that facilitate broader usage of HPC systems in government, education, industry, and research disciplines. Council members collectively bring together hundreds of years of expertise to help users improve efficiencies for better research, education, innovation and product manufacturing; to provide application designers with the tools needed to enable parallel computing; to strengthen the qualification and integration of HPC system products; to allow companies to develop better products and services and be more competitive; and to support comprehensive and complete education foundations by providing information and equipment to allow students to learn about HPC.
RAID has been increasingly focused on the HPC market over the past several years, as evidenced recently by the development of their performance-intensive X2-IB storage system and fully customizable Fusion gateway solution. The company also provides itself on a true open technology model, providing custom storage solutions that operate seamlessly with nearly all file systems, operating systems, interconnects, and clusters.
