Synology iPhone Application DS Audio

Synology America Corp. announced that the new Synology iPhone application – DS audio is available for free as a download on the Apple App Store. This new application allows Disk Station users to access their digital music collections stored on their Disk Stations with their iPhone/iPod touch anytime, anywhere.

DS audio allows users to stream music stored on the Disk Station with their iPhone/iPod touch when Internet access is available. Users can search music with keywords and browse the songs by playlist, artist or album.

"Disk Station users already love the multi-media features of our Disk Station Manager and now, they can access their stored digital music with their iPhone or iPod Touch on the go," says Doug Self, product marketing specialist at Synology America Corp. "Synology makes it easy to enjoy your music stored on the Disk Station anytime and anyplace," adds Self.

The DS audio works with Synology Disk Station 2.2 firmware. The beta of DSM 2.2 firmware is now available for public evaluation with the official version expected to be released in September 2009.

The DS audio is now available to download for free on the Apple App Store.
