Avnet Distributes Data Domain

Avnet, Inc. announced a distribution agreement with Data Domain, Inc..

Data Domain delivers inline deduplication storage systems to reduce
enterprise storage capacity requirements and optimize data management
and recovery processes. Data Domain storage systems are complementary
to a broad range of server and storage platforms currently supported by
Avnet’s value-added resellers (VARs). The distribution agreement is
available to Avnet resellers in the United States and Canada.

Data Domain offers powerful, field-proven storage systems using
high-speed inline deduplication to optimize data protection and
disaster recovery (DR) performance. Data Domain products address the
needs of enterprises of all sizes and support leading enterprise backup
and archiving applications for seamless integration into existing IT
infrastructures.
