Panasonic Camcorder With 240GB HDD

Panasonic has released in Japan the HDC-HS350, a compact AVCHD camcorder with 10.6-megapixel 3MOS sensor and a 240GB HDD to record up to 100 hours of HD video at 6Mbps (1,440×1,080) or 31 hours and 40 minutes of HD video at
17Mbps (maximum quality at 1,920×1,080).

No pricing has been revealed.

Omnidirectional sensors will detect a drop
to park the disk heads and prevent HDD damage,
and data are recorded in the memory buffer during the fall.
