FalconStor Teams with immixGroup
To access data protection solutions for government customers

To simplify and aggregate the procurement process for federal, state, and local government customers, FalconStor is adding its FalconStor Virtual Tape Library (VTL) with deduplication, Continuous Data Protector (CDP), File-interface Deduplication System (FDS), and Network Storage Server (NSS) to the immixGroup General Services Administration (GSA) IT Schedule 70 and NASA Solutions for Enterprise Wide Procurement (SEWP) IV contracts. As a result, value-added resellers (VARs) selected and authorized by FalconStor and immixGroup under the program can also sell into federal and select state government markets.

Government agencies will be able to obtain FalconStor solutions through immixGroup’s multiple-award, government-wide acquisition contract vehicles, with consistent and accurate pricing, terms and conditions. Consequently, government agencies will now be able to more easily take advantage of the benefits of FalconStor’s high-performance data protection solutions.
Through this relationship, immixGroup will act as a distributor of FalconStor solutions, supporting Falconstor and its channel partners by providing access to immixGroup’s government contract vehicles and delivering comprehensive demand generation, market intelligence, marketing, inside sales, deal structure, closing, and maintenance renewal support services. As a result, FalconStor channel partners will have greater access to government markets.
In addition, immixGroup will provide Falconstor with independent monitoring and detailed, expert analysis of the discrete sales activities performed by its government channel partners in order to reward the partners providing the most value, and to ensure product procurement compliance.
