Samba Tech’s Liquid Platform provides the hosting, management, protection and monetization of video, audio and images. It enables customers to generate customized applications along with complete solutions for WebTV, corporate communications and live streaming media. Samba Tech uses the Nirvanix SDN as the backbone of its Liquid Platform, integrating online storage and enhancing its product offerings while overcoming capital constraints and infrastructure management issues.
“Nirvanix enhances our ability to solve the logistical issues of offering content storage integration as part of our customers’ media offerings in a way that maximizes the efficiency of digital delivery,” said Rodrigo Paolucci, Chief Marketing Officer of Samba Tech. “Because we can take advantage of the Nirvanix SDN, we have been able to provide our international customer base with secure media storage while avoiding the significant capital investment that otherwise would have been required to build out our own storage solution.”
“Our collaboration with Samba Tech is an example of an ideal use case for the Nirvanix SDN and showcases our unique ability to offer companies an instant global footprint for storing and delivering media,” said Jim Zierick, President and CEO of Nirvanix. “By integrating Nirvanix, media companies of all sizes can reduce the complexity of managing their infrastructure and efficiently enable the reuse of their content while reducing their costs.”
