For Disk Station Manager 2.2

Synology, Inc. announced that its new Media Server is Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) compliant. Being DLNA compliant, Synology Disk Station has met the stringent interoperability guidelines set by the Digital Living Network Alliance and will work with other DLNA compliant devices in the market.

"DLNA technology ensures interoperability among various DLNA certified devices, including consumer electronics, personal computers and mobile devices in a home network," said Edward Lin, marketing director of Synology. "This is fully in line with our goal of providing hassle-free and seamless digital content sharing and storage solutions."

Today, more than 5,000 devices are DLNA certified and more than 245 well-known companies comprise DLNA. Using DLNA compatible devices allows users easily and conveniently enjoy their digital content from any location in their home, and beyond.
